Anastasia Belousova Wins the Shukhov Prize
Anastasia Belousova, a senior researcher at the VLADMIVA Experimental Plant and a PhD in engineering, was awarded the Shukhov Prize in the "Medicine, Pharmacy, and Bioengineering" category.
Since 2017, the prize has been awarded for the best achievements in scientific and technological progress, experimental design, and the practical implementation of patents and inventions. The award is intended to stimulate the research activities of Belgorod scientists.
This year, Anastasia Belousova, a senior researcher at the VLADMIVA Experimental Plant and a PhD in engineering, was awarded the Shukhov Prize in the "Medicine, Pharmacy, and Bioengineering" category. At our plant, she developed a dental glass ionomer cement based on SrO-Al2O3-SiO2-P2O5-F glass and successfully implemented this modern technology into production.
The cement is produced using exclusively domestic raw materials. This allows the dental industry to remain completely independent of foreign supplies. Furthermore, the developed material is exported to Israel, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Mongolia, and the UK.
The cement has been in production for two years and has already helped more than 8 million patients with dental treatment.
The VLADMIVA team warmly congratulates Anastasia Beloussova and thanks her for her active participation in the development of both the company in particular and the domestic dental industry in general.
