- iodoform-free for teeth apexofication and treatment of chronic periodontitis.
PURPOSE
«Apexdent» iodoform-free dental material is used for apexofication of tooth with non-complete root growth and wide apex hole. It is also used for treating chronic periodontitis of permanent teeth.
FEATURES
«Apexdent» iodoform-free dental dough contains calcium hydroxide and features radiopacity, high pH level (12,5) and long aseptic effect.
«Apexdent» usage provides root growth and formation of apical osseous cement barrier during 9-15 months.
The material can be used for treatment of milk tooth roots with non-formed apex in case of periodontitis.
When treating chronic periodontitis, the permanent filling of root canal is possible in 3-6 weeks.
