CEMION
GLASS-IONOMER CEMENT
PURPOSE
«Cemion» glass-ionomer chemically cured radiopaque cement is used:
«Cemion» glass-ionomer chemically cured radiopaque cement features good chemical adhesion to enamel and dentine.
«Cemion» filling material is obtained by mixing powder and liquid. The powder is fine fluoroaluminum glass. The liquid is water solution of modified polyacrylic acid.
Glassionomer reaction starts immediately after mixing followed by leakage of fluorine ions strengthening dentine and featuring bactericidal effect. The material prevents formation of secondary caries.
«Cemion» material features high bio-compatibility with tooth tissues, good strengh and high stability to acidic erosion, high radiopacity.
The powder has A2, A3, B2, C2 and C4 shades according to VITA scale.

«Cemion» glass-ionomer chemically cured radiopaque cement is used:
- for restoration of milk teeth (all cavities);
- for filling cavities of the 1st and the 2nd classes;
- for filling cavities of the 5th class;
- for treating non-caries lesion of hard tissues;
- for provisional filling;
- for sealing of fissures;
- for modeling tooth stump to be crowned;
- for lining when filling with composites and amalgams;
