DENTINE-POWDER
TEMPORARY FILLING MATERIAL
PURPOSE
«Dentine-powder» on water basis is used as provisional filling material for coating medicines in tooth cavity when treating caries.
FEATURES
«Dentine-powder» is water-plasticizable modified zinc-sulphate cement containing calcium. Main compounds are zinc oxide, zinc sulphate and calcium phosphates. When mixed with water, astrigent dough is obtained. Filling made of «Dentine-powder» is a good sealant for tooth cavity.
The material possesses knitting, drying action and has sour reaction, therefore it is not necessary to suppose contacts the material with a mucous surface of an oral cavity as non-cured material can cause irritation of soft tissues.
