BELAST
IMPRESSION SILICONE MATERIAL CONDENSING TYPE
PURPOSE
«Belast» of HIGH VISCOSITY (type 0 - hard and type 1 - soft) is used for obtaining primary basic imprints according to 1 and 2-layer methods.
«Belast» of LOW VISCOSITY (type 3) is used for obtaining secondary imprints according to 2-layer method. It is also used for obtaining imprints of tooth-less jaw.
«Belast» of MEDIUM VISCOSITY (type 2) is used for obtaining moulds in cases of parodontitis, defects of jaw bone, when obtaining prostheses and endodontic appliances in pediatric dentistry.
«Belast CATALYST» is used for setting impression silicone materials of condensing type (“Belast” of high/medium/low viscosity).
FEATURES
«Belast» of high viscosity (ISO 4823, type 0 - hard, type 1 - soft) is a silicone impression composition of cold vulcanization. The material features optimal primary consistency, high stability after setting, high impression qulity and elasticity, low setting.
Mixing time should not exceed 30-40 sec.
Working time is 1 min 30 sec.
Hardening time is 3,0 min.
Vulcanization time of “Belast” material depends on catalyst quantity.
«Belast» of low viscosity (ISO 4823, type 3) is a silicone impression composition of cold vulcanization.
Mixing time should not exceed 30-40 sec.
Working time is 1 min 30 sec.
Hardening time is 3,0-4,0 min. linear shrinkage is 0,65%.

«Belast» of medium viscosity (ISO 4823, type 2) with catalyst is a dough based on silicone rubber of cold vulcanization and catalyst.

«Belast-catalyst» material is catalyst-gel for impression silicone materials of condensing type when making exact impressions of hard and soft tissues area. As a result of mixing silicone materials (“Belast” of high/medium/low viscosity) with “Belast-catalyst”, elastic vulcanizate is obtained.
Catalyst should be dosed according to manufacturer's direction for use of the basic material.
