ARGENATE

DENTAL MATERIAL FOR REDUCTION OF TEETH HYPERESTHESIA, FOR TEETH FLUORINATION AND ROOT CANALS SILVERING
PURPOSE
«Argenate» one-component is used in case of primary caries (especially of milk teeth), for reduction of teeth hyperesthesia and root canals silvering as well as for secondary caries prevention after teeth restoration.
«Argenate» set is used for silvering infected and difficult canals, carious milk teeth and teeth with cervical caries. The material should not be used for silvering front teeth because of its coloring effect.

FEATURES
«Argenate» one-component is a color-less transparent liquid containing complex salt of diaminoargentum fluoride (I).
The material effect is based on transformation of calcium and orthophosphate ions of tooth hydroxiapatite into calcium fluoride and silver. These components coagulate proteins of dentine organic base blocking cavities of tooth hard tissues and strengthening dentine structure.
«Argenate» material features no irritating effect on pulp due to calcium fluoride formed on dentine surface. This layer narrows dentinal canals preventing penetration of silver ions.
The material features long bactericidal effect preventing failure of mineral elements contained in milk teeth. Avoid contact of «Argenate» material with mucosa! For mucosa protection, the tooth should be isolated with cotton wad and mucosa should be treated with mineral butter or coconut oil. In case of material contact with mucosa, it should be washed off with water.
«Argenate» set for silvering tooth hard tissues comprises:
iquid № 1 containing ion form of silver
liquid№ 2 containing silver restorer
liquid petrolatum for mucosa isolation when silvering milk teeth and cervical part of teeth.
Silvering method comprises penetration of silver ions into macro- and microcanals of tooth hard tissues, then silver is restored and deposited in dentine canals.
